In Downtown Chicago during the summer of 1957, the life of a 19 year-old hangs in the balance. Raised in the slums, he’s accused of murdering his father in cold blood. Now the boy’s fate lies in the hands of the justice system, where the jury will decide whether he lives or dies. At first glance, it appears to be an open-and-shut case, but what unfolds is a spectacle like no other, with the jury room becoming a battleground of two opposing views of the definition of justice.
