Affton High School, in partnership with the Center for Bosnian Studies at Saint Louis University, is honored to host a special book talk with author Adis Ε½iga.
The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. in the Affton High School Library, located at 8309 Mackenzie.
Mr. Ε½iga will discuss his new book, The Empty Chocolate Wrapper, a moving account that explores the "Bosnian War Genocide from the Eyes of Innocence."
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and complimentary light refreshments will be served. Guests are asked to park in the front lot and enter the building through the main doors. This event is open to the community and provides a powerful opportunity to hear directly from the author about this important topic.
