Great day yesterday for the Cougars and a strong start for Bao winning his first wrestle back match!
SPRING SPORTS COACHES & INFORMATION:
BASEBALL: COACH UTHOFF - March 3, 2:30-TBD. Meet at Baseball Field unless bad weather then meet in the upper gym. Players need to be prepared for indoor or outdoor practice. Proper baseball attire.
GIRLS SOCCER: COACH BARCOM - March 3, 2:45-5:00pm meet at main field. Bring white and grey shirts for practices. Dress accordingly for the weather.
BOYS GOLF: COACH LAUE - 2:30-3:00 Room 145 (Coach Laue's Classroom) Informational meeting to discuss practice/match locations, dates, times, transportation, etc...
BOYS & GIRLS TRACK/FIELD: COACH HILL - March 3, 2:30-4:30 Meet at the track. If the weather is bad, meet in the cafeteria. Be prepared to practice inside or outside.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL: COACH PAUK - March 3, 2:30-4:30 Lower Gym
Tonight's boys basketball game at Roosevelt has been canceled for both JV and Varsity.
Another exciting game coming down to the wire. Cougars come out on top 43-35!
JV Boys with the win to improve to 15-7 on the year. Varsity with 26-16 lead at halftime at DuBourg.
The JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games are still on for tonight at DuBourg 5 and 6:30.

Girls Basketball at Normandy today has been moved to 2/26 at 5 PM at Normandy
The Wrestling Cougars ended their regular season with 3 dominant dual meet victories over DeSmet, GSA & St. Mary's. Led by Seniors Nino Muyco & Mercury Clark who were undefeated on the night and Alex Reyes who pinned his last two opponents. The team finishes the season at 13-1

Boys Basketball changes for this week: Freshmen game cancelled for Wednesday and Friday. Friday's game times have moved up: JV at 4 PM, Varsity at 5:30 PM.
Reminder tomorrow Tuesday 2/11/25 is our National Girls and Women in sports day. Game time is at 5 PM.
Spring sports tryouts are Monday March 3rd, details to follow. Blue cards can be picked at lunches or after school on Feb. 24, 25, or 27th. Please check you student's accounts and make sure all fines are paid and that their Healthy Roster information is submitted and up-to-date.
We are getting close to end of the winter season and there are only a few more home matches left. The schedule for Feb. 10- Feb. 16 is attached.
Hey Affton, here are some more opportunities we are offering to start building our youth activities in the district. This free clinic is just for students in grades 2-5 currently, but we are looking expand over time. There will be more opportunities coming soon.
